Bicycle Helmet Quotes of the Day

Lately I've been getting almost as many compliments on my helmet as my bike. It's this great helmet with polka dots on it made by a company called NUTCASE. Jon bought it for me in Montreal. I pimped it up with peace sign stickers and some crazy colored metallic ribbons I got at a Halloween decorating event at Socrates Sculpture Garden in Queens. People seem to like it. I am delighted when someone says "nice helmet" because often people will say "nice hat" and well it's really not a hat. Someone once said it looked like a Wonderbread wrapper. It does sort of have those classic polka dot colors.
Anyway on 1/9/09 coming up in the elevator at Strickman-Ripps Casting in Tribeca I got TWO terrific comments: "Cheerful" and "Festive." That's what I am ALL about!
