5. people going to the inauguration and the excitement
6. the two buses and the subway we had to take to get to DC
7. MY CRAZY Obama Gloves
8. getting to the jumbotron just in time to see Obama speak
9. singing This Land is Our Land with a full and peon heart with Leigh, Pete Seeger and Bruce Springsteen
10. talking to the painter who likes to paint events
11. the general excitement at the Washington Monument
12. walking by the reflecting pool
13. helping to clean up the trash
14. taking in the Vietnam Vet Memorial
15. giving homeless people staying warm on a grate the left over snacks that Kathryn gave me and Leigh
16. those brothers that gave us a copy of the Washington Post Magazine
17. Loretta and Quintess
18. a nice dinner
19. sparkling red wine
21. good dessert
22. getting back to Kathryn’s
23. Kathryn’s hospitality
24. a warm bed to sleep in
